Noboru Tsubaki, the featured artist of the 1st International Triennale of Contemporary Art YOKOHAMA 2001, talks about his thoughts regarding the future of Yokohama.

Artist
1953年、京都市生まれ。京都私立芸術大美術専攻科修了。93年のベネチア・ビエンナーレに出品。2001年の横浜トリエンナーレでは室井尚・横浜国立大教授(当時は助教授)と組み、巨大なバッタのバルーン「インセクト・ワールド-飛蝗(バッタ)」を発表／05年4月から京都造形大空間演出デザイン学科教授。

1963年横浜生まれ。複合文化施設スパイラルのチーフキュレーター。 スパイラルで行う現代美術展の企画プロデュースを始め、他の企業、施設、地域のための展覧会企画、アートプロジェクトのプロデュース、他を手掛ける。 ２００５年に行われた「愛・地球博」の公式アートプログラム事業のキュレーターを務め、２００９年から横浜市の「象の鼻テラス」のアートディレクターを務める。
